Just from looking at my website statistics, it’s seems obvious to me that running gifts are very popular this year.  Could it be that New Year’s resolution to get in shape?  Whatever your motivation, you hit the nail on the head because running is a great sport, not to mention there are so many choices when it comes to running gifts - new footwear, running apparel or running accessories, there is plenty to choose from.

Whether it be a Christmas gift or some much needed running supplies for yourself, there is no better time to buy your running gear as the days leading up to Christmas, because almost all online running stores offer great specials.  Competition is fierce and running stores have to give the consumer great deals to stay in the market.  I thought that I’d make life a little easier for you and highlight a couple specials that I recommend from online running shops that I have personally shopped from and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.  Depending on what it is that you are shopping for, one particular store may suit your running needs more than another.  My biggest advise is:  avoid the crowds and shop online.
